David Witzeneder grew up in a small village in Austria. After his technical education he lived in Latvia and Costa Rica. He is CEO of Wormsystems GmbH and studied at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna. He is an expert in the field small scale vermicomposting.

His hobbies are Beekeeping, Travelling and Meditating.
